Preparation steps

Peel and finely chop carrot and celery. Peel onion and cut into strips. Rinse and shake dry herbs, pluck off leaves and chop coarsely (set aside some marjoram or thyme leaves for  garnishing).

Heat oil in a pan and saute onion and peeled and squeezed through a garlic press garlic for a few minutes. Add prepared vegetables and saute briefly. Add ground meat and cook until meat is crumbly, stirring. Season with salt and pepper, add chopped tomatoes and simmer for about 30 minutes. Add chopped herbs.

10 minutes before the end of cooking, add cleaned and sliced ​​mushrooms. Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions, drain and arrange on plates. Top with meat and mushroom sauce and garnish with basil and reserved herbs. Serve.
