8 cups Penne
4 Tbsps olive oil
1 Red onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic cloves (chopped)
2 red chili peppers (deseeded and chopped)
4 Tbsps Caper
1 cup canned Tomatoes (chopped)
0.333 cup black Olives (pitted)
2 cups canned Tuna (flaked)
Tabasco sauce
To garnish
fresh Basil

Preparation steps

1.
Bring a large pan of salted water to a boil and cook the penne until al dente.
2.
Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onion for 5 minutes.
3.
Add the garlic, cook for 2 minutes then add the chilli, capers and tomatoes.
4.
Chop the olives and add to the sauce with the tuna. Simmer the sauce until the liquid has reduced a little, then season to taste with the Tabasco sauce.
5.
Drain the pasta and toss in the tuna sauce. Serve garnished with torn fresh basil leaves.
