- 500 grams Calamari
- 5 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250 grams shiitake mushrooms
- 250 grams Snow peas
- 150 milliliters Chicken broth (from a jar)
- 1 tsp Sambal sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- salt
- peppers
Preparation steps

Rinse calamari, trim as needed and cut into thin rings. Cut tentacles off. Mix 2 tablespoons oil in a bowl with freshly ground pepper. Peel garlic and squeeze through a press into the bowl. Add prepared calamari to the bowl. Trim mushrooms and cut into strips.

Rinse snow peas, trim ends and cut diagonally into large pieces. Mix chicken broth in a bowl with sambal manis and cornstarch. Heat remaining oil in a wok and saute snow peas for 2 minutes while stirring.

Add mushrooms and fry for another 3 minutes while stirring. Push vegetables to the edge of the wok, add calamari and fry for 3 minutes. Add broth to the wok, mix, bring to a boil then cook for 2 minutes while stirring and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
