2 ozs breadcrumbs
2 tsps finely chopped thyme
2 garlic cloves
4 Tbsps freshly grated Parmesan

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to approximately 350°F.

Rinse the artichokes, cut off the stems and tough outer leaves and cook in salted water with the lemon juice for about 15 minutes until tender. Remove the hearts and fibers with a melon baller and place the artichokes in a baking dish. Fill the wells in the artichokes with a mixture of breadcrumbs, thyme, crushed garlic, grated Parmesan cheese and grated lemon zest. Sprinkle each with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil and cook for about 10 minutes in the oven. Serve hot.
