4 slices big-American Toast (or tramezzini bread)
2 lg slices cooked ham
2 lg slices Gruyere
rosemary
salt
peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Put the ham, cheese and rosemary on 2 slices of toast, season with salt and pepper, place the remaining bread slices on top and press down well. Cook until golden brown in a sandwich maker. Halve diagonally and serve.

2.

If a sandwich maker is not available, toast the bread at a low temperature with some butter until golden brown on both sides and then roast for 5-10 minutes in the oven at 160°C (approximately 325°F) so the cheese melts. Serve halved cut diagonally.
