- 400 grams Tomatoes
- 2 stalks Celery
- 1 bunch scallions
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp Almond slivers
- 2 tsps Caper
- 50 grams green Olives (pitted)
- salt
- white freshly ground pepper
- 4 Tuna 150 grams each (approximately 5 ounces)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- fresh Basil
Preparation steps

Cut the tomatoes crosswise and scald in boiling water. Put into cold water, drain, then dice.

Rinse the celery and cut diagonally into strips. Rinse the scallions and cut into rings.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and toast the almonds until brown. Add the tomatoes, celery, scallions, capers and olives. Simmer briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Rinse the tuna and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper. Heat the remaining oil with the butter.

Cook the tuna in the oil and butter for about 3 minutes on each side. Serve with the sauce, garnished with basil. Goes well with boiled potatoes.
