Ingredients
for
4
- Ingredients
- 1.333 cups Whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- Tabasco sauce
- 4 Lettuce
- 4 slices Turkey ham
- 2 Tomatoes (seeds removed, cut into strips)
- ⅔ cup Cheddar cheese (grated)
- 1 Red onion (chopped)
Preparation steps
1.
Mix the flour, with a pinch salt and 100 ml lukewarm water and knead until a soft dough is formed and it is no longer sticky (add a little more water, if needed). Cover and allow to rest for 15 minutes.
2.
Next divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll out on a floured work surface into circle approx. 20 cm / 8 inch.
3.
Dry-fry in a non-stick skillet until dark brown speckles appear on both sides. Keep the wraps warm.
4.
Mix the lemon juice with the olive oil, a few drops of Tabasco, salt and ground black pepper to make a salad dressing.
5.
Cover the wraps with lettuce, ham, tomatoes, Cheddar and onions and drizzle with the dressing.
6.
Roll up and serve cut in halves.
