- 1 kilogram turkey breasts
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 Tbsp clarified butter
- Onions, garlic cloves and chili peppers (2 of each)
- 375 milliliters Instant chicken broth
- juice of two Oranges
- Carrots and Broccoli (each 400 grams)
- 2 Tbsps honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch and unshelled Sesame seeds
Preparation steps
Rub the turkey breast with salt and pepper. In a Dutch oven, heat the butter and brown the turkey breast on all sides.
Peel and dice the onions and garlic. Combine with the chili peppers and add to the cooking juices. Sauté until golden brown. Deglaze with the broth and orange juice. Cover and cook for about 45 minutes.
Peel the carrot and cut into pieces. Rinse the broccoli and divide into florets. Peel the stalks and cut into pieces. Cook the carrots in a little salted water for about 10 minutes. Steam the broccoli for about 5 minutes.
Place the roast on a plate. Brush with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Broil briefly while watching carefully.
Strain the gravy through a sieve. Boil and bind with the mixed cornstarch. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange everything together. Pairs well with potato dumplings or boiled potatoes.
