1 kilogram Asparagus (White)

Preparation steps

1.

Step 1) Wrap the asparagus in a damp cloth.

2.

Step 2) Remove the asparagus from the refrigerator and place on a board.

3.

Step 3) Thoroughly peel the asparagus ends with a peeler. (Being careful not to peel the ends.)

4.

 Cut the ends.

5.

Step 4) Split the aspargus bundles into two, binding each with kitchen string.

6.

Step 5) In a large pot of salted water, cook al dente for about 18 minutes.

7.

Step 6) Remove from the pot and drain slightly. Remove the kitchen string, then seperate and arrange on plates.
