1.333 cups white Turnip (diced)
8 eggs
4 Tbsps cream
2 Tbsps butter
4 Bell pepper (red and green, diced)
¾ cup grated Cheese (e. g. Emmental)

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven), 400°F, gas 6.
2.
Blanche the turnip in salt water for 2-3 min. Drain and rinse well.
3.
Mix together the eggs and cream and season with salt and ground black pepper.
4.
Heat the butter in a large oven-proof pan and fry the peppers and the turnip. Add the egg mixture and sprinkle with the cheese. Transfer to the oven and bake for around 20 min. Cut into slices and serve either warm or cold.
