4 Tbsps olive oil
1 yellow onion (chopped)
4 cloves garlic cloves (chopped)
1 tsp crushed Red pepper flakes
1 cup white wine
1 cup Tomato sauce
3 cups mussels (scrubbed with beards removed)
12 large shrimp (rinsed and deveined;)
1 ¼ cups Calamari (cut into rings)
2 Tbsps fresh Basil (chopped)
¼ cup Bell pepper (diced)
cracked Black pepper

Preparation steps

Bring a stockpot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and stir until the water returns to a boil. Cook until al dente. Drain; reserving 1/2 cup cooking water. Place in large warmed bowl; drizzle with 2 tablespoons olive oil. Cover in plastic wrap.

Heat remaining oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute onions for 5 minutes. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, saute until fragrant. Add wine, cook for 3 minutes until reduced. Add tomato sauce and reserved cooking water. Cover and bring to a boil; cook about 5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.

Add mussels, shrimp, calamari, basil and peppers, cover and cook until the mussels open, 5 minutes. Add sauce and seafood to the cooked pasta and toss to combine. Season and serve.
