Nutritional values

The fibre contained in this delicious breakfast stimulates digestion and ensures a long-lasting feeling of fullness. The antioxidants from the berries protect the body's cells from damage by free radicals.

Outside the berry season, you can also use frozen berries or other fruit, for example diced apples or pears, for this dish.

Preparation steps

1.

Put the oat flakes in a large bowl and pour 14 ounces of boiling water over them. Add 1 pinch of salt, mix everything and let it swell for 10 minutes.

2.

In the meantime, roughly chop the walnuts and wash the berries. Add almond milk, vanilla pulp, walnuts and berries to the oat flakes and stir well.

3.

Brush a casserole dish (approx. 10 x 8 inches) with the melted coconut oil and spread oatmeal-berry mixture in it. Sprinkle everything with honey and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C / 350 °F for about 20-25 minutes.

4.

Serve the finished baked oats hot and garnish as desired with Greek yogurt and fresh berries.
