Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Brush a baking dish with butter.

2.

Cook the pasta in salted water until not quite al dente, and then drain.

3.

Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Rinse, trim, and rip the spinach. 

4.

Heat the oil in a saucepan, and sweat the onions and garlic until traanslucent. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Add the pasta to the spinach mixture and toss together. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Transfer to the buttered baking dish.

5.

Mix the parmesan and the breadcrumbs. Sprinkle over the top of the pasta. Cut the butter into small pieces, and divide it over the top. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
