400 grams Frozen pea (shelled or fresh)
3 sprigs fresh cilantro
1 white onion

2 Limes (juiced)

2 Tbsps black Sesame seeds

Preparation steps

Cook peas in salted boiling water, 8-10 minutes. Drain. Peel and finely chop onion. In a pan, sauté onion in 2 tablespoons sesame oil over low heat. Add 125 ml (approximately 1/2 cup) water. Bring to a boil and add peas. Remove pan from the heat and let cool slightly.

Rinse cilantro and strip leaves from stems. Add cilantro, 1-2 tablespoons sesame oil and lime juice to the pan. Puree until smooth. Season generously with salt and pepper. Divide soup among bowls and serve garnished with more cilantro, if desired, and black sesame seeds.
