- Ingredients
- 4 Pork cutlets (each 200 grams)
- 1 Tbsp clarified butter
- ground paprika
- rosemary (needles)
- butter
- 200 grams Comté cheese (grated)
- 150 grams cooked ham (cubed)
- 1 egg
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 4 sprigs thyme
- For the garnish
- Lettuce
- scallions
- Tomatoes
- 2 Tbsps white balsamic vinegar
- thyme (for garnish)
Preparation steps
1.
Season the pork with salt and pepper. Heat the butter in a skillet and saute the chops 2-3 minutes per side. Place the chops in a buttered baking dish.
2.
Preheat the oven to 220°C (approximately 425°F).
Stir together the cheese, ham, egg, paprika and rosemary and spread the mixture over the chops. Place the thyme in the dish.
3.
Bake until golden brown and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Rinse the lettuce and tear into bite-size pieces. Thinly slice the scallions. Divide the lettuce, scallions and tomato among plates and drizzle with the vinegar.
4.
Remove the meat from the oven and garnish before serving with one sprig of thyme. If desired serve with boiled potatoes, pasta or rice.
