The conical pointed cabbage is an excellent source of health-promoting mustard oils and is more digestible than its cabbage siblings. Its indigestible fiber nourishes the colon bacteria, which as a result produce vitamins, among other things. This strengthens the body's immune defenses and helps break down toxic and carcinogenic substances. Grapefruit contains a good portion of bitter substances. They have a beneficial effect on flatulence and stimulate the activity of the liver, gall bladder, and pancreas. This facilitates the digestion of carbohydrates, protein, and fat.

You can get red pointed cabbage, for example, at the weekly market or in very well-stocked organic food stores. Alternatively, the pointed cabbage salad with walnuts can of course also be prepared without any problems with the green version of the cabbage.
