Seafood Pasta
Preparation steps
Rinse clams (or mussels) thoroughly, discard all opened ones. Rinse calamari and cut into rings. Rinse shrimp. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large Dutch oven, add clams and cook, covered, for about 5 minutes, shaking pan often. Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions.
Heat remaining oil in a pan. Peel garlic and chop finely, saute for a few minutes, add remaining seafood and saute for 5 minutes on medium heat. Blanch tomatoes in hot water, rinse in cold water and peel, quarter and remove seeds, dice finely. Rinse parsley and chop finely, add to the pan and add lemon juice. Drain spaghetti and toss with seafood and clams, add tomato cubes and season with salt and pepper. Arrange on plates and serve.
