2 eggs
2 Tbsps sugar
1 pinch ground cinnamon
125 milliliters milk
60 milliliters Whipped cream
2 Tbsps slivered almonds

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Butter 4 ovenproof ramekins.

Cut bread into thin slices. Rinse cherries, pat dry, remove pits and add to ramekins with bread slices. Whip egg yolks with sugar and cinnamon until fluffy. Add milk and cream. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Pour into ramekins, sprinkle with sliced almonds and bake for 25 minutes. Remove and serve immediately.
