Nutritional values

With plenty of vitamin C, broccoli pushes the immune system. The green vegetable also scores with plenty of beta-carotene. This nutrient is converted by our body to vitamin A and supports our vision.

The cream cheese sauce with broccoli is a great addition to pasta, but also makes a great cream of broccoli soup. To do this, simply mix in a little more vegetable broth and puree everything until creamy.

Preparation steps

1.

Clean and wash broccoli, divide into small florets, peel stalk and dice. Cook broccoli florets in broth for 4 minutes. Then drain and collect the broth.

2.

Next, peel and finely dice the onion, sauté with the broccoli florets in the melted fat, add 16 ounces of the broth, cover and cook for 8 minutes.

3.

Then puree the broccoli in the broth. Stir in the cream cheese and 1 ounce of grated Parmesan, add the broccoli stems and bring to the boil again. Season with salt and pepper and dress with coarsely ground pepper and the remaining Parmesan. This sauce goes particularly well with Tagliatelle.
