- 400 grams fresh Cod
- 1 shallot
- 1 Red chili pepper
- 1 large Avocado
- 1 Lime (juiced)
- brown sugar
- 1 handful Leaf lettuce variety
- 1 tsp freshly grated Horseradish (for garnish)
- 4 Tbsps olive oil (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Rinse cod fillets, pat dry and chop into small pieces. Peel shallot and cut into small cubes. Rinse chile pepper, cut in half lengthwise, remove seeds and finely chop. Cut avocado in half, remove pit, peel and cut into small cubes. Mix lime juice in a large bowl with a little sugar, stir and then mix in all prepared ingredients. Cover and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

To serve, rinse lettuce, shake dry and arrange on four plates. Place ceviche mixture in a metal ring on top of lettuce, press lightly and remove ring. Sprinkle with horseradish and drizzle with oil. Serve immediately.
