Healthy, because

Prawns score points with their high iodine content. We need this trace element for a well-functioning thyroid gland, which plays a central role in metabolism. Seafood is also rich in protein and low in fat. The combination is perfect for fitness fans, but also for losing weight. The garlic in the aioli supplies sulphides (secondary plant substances), which not only make up the smell but also effectively combat pathogens.

The first barbecue in summer is a special treat, the further the barbecue season progresses the less you feel like having sausages and the like, so try something different on the barbecue, for example the grilled prawns are a good change. Serve grilled vegetables, grilled focaccia or a summery zoodle salad with the Spanish king prawns& Incidentally,
gamabas, giant, tiger, king and jumbo prawns are all the same type of sea animals.

Preparation steps

1.

For the aioli, set all the ingredients out until they are at room temperature. Peel and press the garlic cloves. In a large bowl, beat egg yolks, mustard, turmeric, and a pinch of salt and pepper until light and creamy.

2.

Initially add the oil just a few drops at a time, while beating. After a few moments, start to pour in a steady stream, while beating constantly. Always make sure that the mixture is combining well before adding more. Season with salt and lemon juice.

3.

Rinse the prawns and cut in half. Season with salt and pepper. Preheat a hot stone and cook the prawns, turning to brown evenly. Serve with the fresh aioli.
