Preparation steps
Peel cucumbers and cut in half lengthwise. Remove seeds with a spoon.
Cut cucumber halves into 1 cm (approximately 1/2-inch) thick slices.
Peel, halve and thinly slice onion.
Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the cucumber over high heat for 2-3 minutes.
Add onion and ham and cook for 2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.
Add canned tomatoes. Stir to combine and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Rinse dill, shake dry and coarsely chop.
Stir cheese and dill into the vegetables and season with salt and pepper. Serve on wheat rolls.
