Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and spin lettuces dry. Tear into bite-sized pieces as needed. Rinse oranges with hot water, pat dry and remove zest in long strips. Cut off remaining peel from oranges. With a sharp knife, remove orange sections. Squeeze remaining juice into a bowl.

2.

To make vinaigrette: Whisk together orange juice with honey, vinegar and oil. Season with salt and pepper.

3.

Divide lettuces and orange segments among plates and top with zest strips. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, fry bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and divide bacon over salad. Just before serving, drizzle with vinaigrette.
