600 grams white fish fillets (such as cod or pollock)
1 egg white
2 tsps lemon juice
4 Tbsps breadcrumbs
salt
peppers
150 grams slivered almonds
6 Tbsps vegetable oil

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse fish fillets, pat dry and cut into small pieces. Combine with egg white and lemon juice in a blender and puree coarsely.

2.

Mix fish mixture with enough breadcrumbs to make malleable mixture and season with salt and pepper. Shape into 8-12 patties and coat with almonds. Heat oil in a pan and cook for about 3 minutes per side or until golden brown.  

3.

Drain on paper towels and arrange on plates. Serve with potato and cucumber salad, if deisred.
