With chocolate, the higher the cocoa content, the better. Cocoa contains a full 414 milligrams of magnesium per 100 grams and can help relieve cramps and tension. Thanks to high amounts of natural plant pigments such as flavonoids, the cocoa contained in tarte au chocolat also support our immune system. Incidentally, the higher the cocoa content of a chocolate, the lower the sugar content.
The Tarte au Chocolat comes completely without flour and is therefore also suitable for people with gluten intolerance. The chocolate tart can be garnished with nuts of your choice if desired.

- 4 eggs
- 18 ozs Dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa content)
- 1 ¾ ozs mixed Berry
- 1 bunch mint

Preparation steps
Separate eggs and beat yolks until foamy.
Chop chocolate and melt in a water bath or in intervals in the microwave. Meanwhile, beat egg whites until stiff.
Allow melted chocolate to cool briefly and mix with egg yolk.
Then carefully fold the chocolate mixture into the beaten egg white.
Pour the dough into a greased tart pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C / 350 °F for 25 minutes.
Remove the chocolate tart from the oven, cool well, and garnish with fresh berries and some mint.
